Are there age limitations for Dancers Without?

No age limitations! Both youth and adult (male and female) students are enrolled in the program. Studio dancers (1 per 1-2 students with disabilities) assist each class.

What is the cost for classes and performances?

There is NO cost to take class or perform thanks to volunteers and donors who provide studio space and performance shirts.

Can a student in a wheelchair be part of the program?

Yes, we accommodate wheelchairs and other individualized needs in class.

I just learned about the program, can I join late?

Yes, all are welcome and can join at anytime.

I want to volunteer. How do I get started?

Dancers Without Limits operates as a free program for students with disabilities thanks to volunteers and donors. Contact us to become a class volunteer, give a monetary donation, offer opportunities, or begin a parter program near you.

When are classes? Are performances mandatory?

Class is held every Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at Creative Arts Academy in Bountiful, Utah (exceptions for holidays & studio performances). Calendars are sent the beginning of each month. There is no specific attendance policy. Two optional performances are offered (December & May) and are a highlight for all.

What style of dance will students learn?

Students are introduced to a variety of styles including hip hop, ballet, jazz, musical theater, ballroom and contemporary.

What does a typical class look like?

Class begins with a warmup and across the floor technique to help teach specific dance skills. Next, learning new choreography and rehearsal of routines for upcoming performances. Last but not least, free style dancing with students and their studio partner-a class favorite.

What should students wear to class?

Wear whatever makes you confident, comfortable, and allows you to be Dancers Without Limits!
